I’m having a very hard time today, audibly crying. Maybe because I was on my high school newspaper staff. Maybe because I cherish freedom of the press and freedom of speech. Maybe because I abhor senseless violence. Maybe because smashing shop windows is not productive and is the last thing the city needs. Maybe because it’s blatant. Maybe because it’s subtle.
